With U.S.-based operational headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, Auria operates 16 manufacturing, 9 technical and 5 JV locations across 10 countries and employs approximately 3,900 people worldwide.
We are seeking an experienced and results-drive Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our  logistics operations within the automotive interior parts sector. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain, including inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, transportation, and warehouse operations, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Manage the flow of materials from suppliers to production and from production to customers.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, quality and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory accuracy, space utilization, and safety compliance.
  • Optimize transportation routes and negotiate contracts with carriers and logistics service providers.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, customs requirements, and environmental standars.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team though training, coaching and performance management.
 
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain (e.g., APICS CPIM/CSCP, CLTD) is highly desirable.
 
Experience: 
  • 8+ years in the in the automotive industry, with at least 3 years in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive interior components and all MP&L operational areas.
  • Solid understanding of international trade, customs regulations and incoterms.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, six sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
