We are currently searching for Customs and Logistic Specialist to join our team in Mexico. This role will be responsible for:
Operational support for Mexico Customs with focus on Sea, Air and Parcel Shipments, Direct contact with Customs broker, transport, forwarders and couriers. Virtual pedimentos with customers. Administration electronic files.  Follow up of duties and customs expenses paid through Auria Accounts. Follow up on Certificates of Origin requested by Customers. Review of export operations performed by Customer´s agents on behalf of Auria.
General Responsibilities
  • Daily operational support for MexAuria with focus on Sea, Air  and Parcel shipments
  • Annual request to Obtain and maintain certificates of origin for imported materials.
  • Validation of the pedimentos, including the pedimentos and COVES issued by OEM’s brokers on behalf of Auria (import/export)
  • Broker payments review including preparation and issue of PO´s,  receipt and validation of Invoices, submission to AP, and confirmation/follow up of Statements of Account
  • Management of the PECE account payments with HSBC and share information with Finance and Tax team
  • Control/administration of electronic documents (COVEs, E-documents) for performed operations
  • Management and admininstration of database of  Finished goods for the 2 Mexican plants
  • C-TPAT administration for Mexican Entities
  • Daily Floor Reports from BGTS Laredo for what's on hand
  • Verification of tariff classifications of import  materials
  • Gather and review receipt stamped invoices for virtual operations and sales in a monthly basis
  • Match freight cost declared in pedimentos with carrier invoice for performed operations (Value manifesting)
  • Provide CCP format to carrier for performed import/export operations
  • Monthly virtual pedimentos with Customers
  • Digital file administration per own operations. 
Requirements: 
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Experience: 
  • 3+ years in logistics and customs.
  • Experience in international trade industries.
Skills: 
  • Knowledge of customs and logistics regulations.
  • Excellent communication and coordination.

  • Knowledge of logistics and customs software.
Knowledge: 
  • Customs regulations (FTA, NAFTA, etc.).
