We are currently searching for a Plant Manager to join our team at our Sidney Plant in Sidney, Ohio reporting to our Director of Operations.
What you will do:
- Provide overall Plant Leadership to meet corporate and plant objectives
- Achieve goals for financial, people, quality, and materials objectives
- Set SMART goals for and track progress to meet deliverables
- Provide daily leadership to plant staff including Controller, Materials, HR, Operations, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and lean culture.
- Full P&L responsibility for meeting OI, CI, new program launch, and overall operational performance.
- Manage budgeted capital spending and timing
- Minimize deviation to financial forecasting
- Strive for zero accidents / incidents while achieving plant goals for DART rate. Drive year over year improvement in SIP score, while maintaining a minimum score of 85%.
- Zero non-conformances in ISO 14001 and 45001 audit requirements. Zero storm water or any other environmental violations from any government agency.
- Meet customer requirements for quality and delivery, maintain green customer scorecards. Confirm daily capacity, staffing and production rates achieve customer demand. Successfully achieve and maintain IATF and all other certifications with no major nonconformance.
- Develop Annual Budget and Long-Range Plan along with strategies and methods to accomplish
- Drive annual plant budget process to meet annual goals
- Develop 5-year plan with long term strategies including action plans to meet plant and overall region objectives.
- Manage internal audit process with no major nonconformance. Insure CSOX is embedded in the daily operation of the plant and self-evaluations are submitted on time.
- Effective communication thru regular staff meetings, quarterly town hall meetings, weekly financial reviews and monthly KPI review.
- Drive lean implementation thru utilization of Auria production system. Implement Kaizen activities to drive continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain “Green” KPI status of all metrics for People, Quality, Delivery, Productivity and Cash.
- Oversee new program launches to ensure customer and internal deliverables are met on time.
- Insure network and cyber security as well as compliance to ISO 27001 requirements.
- Develop sustainability improvement actions and long-range environmental plan
- Oversee employee engagement, evaluation and succession planning, community involvement and other employee relations activities.
- Responsible for a multi-functional organization producing products for specific customers
- Supervises Finance, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials, Quality, HR, and Information Systems
- Has a significant impact on the business of the Company in terms of costs, schedules, and customer relationships
- Comply with the facility environmental policy and any applicable operational controls in order to meet the established environmental objectives and targets.
- Ensure that employees have the best possible working conditions, through the development of HS&E systems and policies to prevent unreasonable health and safety risks.
- Receive organizational goals and customer requirements and leads the operation to develop strategies and methods to meet them.
- Develop budgets and assure compliance with budgetary requirements in accordance with corporate, divisional and governmental regulations.
- Responsible for the daily liquidity management of the company in accordance with company directions.
- Responsible for preparing the plant to secure a successful launch of new programs in accordance with the applicable time schedules and customer requirements.
- Responsible for the preparation of financial information and reports for corporate accounting and executives

What you will bring:
- BA/BS in related field, MS/MBA Preferred
- Ten or more years of management experience in a manufacturing or automotive supplier preferred
- Tier 1 Automotive required.
- Previous experience working in a union environment
Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time to North American Plants
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

- Strong understanding of P&L
- Knowledge of QS9000, ISO14001 and TS16949
- Understanding of general business practices and principles
- Ability to manage multiple facilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in front of a computer screen 8 hours or more per day
