We are currently searching for a Quality Engineer to join our team at our Spartanburg Plant located in Spartanburg, SC.
What you will do:
- APQP
- Identify and Prepare PPAP Submission Packages
- Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA)
- Dimensional layout and process capability
- Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plan development
- Monitor and Maintain Customer Scorecards
- Timely response to Customer Issues
- On-site reviews on an as needed basis
- Support and Drive Improvement to Quality Systems, including:
- IATF / ISO internal auditing and corrective actions
- Fast Response
- Supplier Quality Tracking System (SQTS)
- Reporting of Quality Metrics such as Cost of Poor Quality and Audit Results
- Lead and/or participate in the resolution of quality issues through identification of root cause and implementation and verification of effective, corrective, and preventive action.

- Support quality technician group as needed
- Administrative
- Administration of Layered Process Audit System

- Escalate any major incidents in accordance with Company policy

What you will bring:
- Bachelors in mechanical engineering
- 5-7 years as a Quality Engineer in Automotive or Manufacturing company, preferably plant experience.
- Exposure working with Automotive OEM base, preferably Volvo, Mercedes, BMW.
- Experience in Customer Portals
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
- Must be able to travel to North American plants.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel to other North America plants may be required for training, support, and meetings.
