Auria is a leading global supplier of highly-engineered systems for automotive flooring, acoustical, thermal, aerodynamic, and other fiber-based solutions for gas and electric vehicles. With U.S.-based operational headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, Auria operates 16 manufacturing, 9 technical and 5 JV locations across 10 countries and employs approximately 3,900 people worldwide.
We are currently searching for Senior Manager Sustainability to join our team! This position will oversee the Global Responsible Sourcing and North America Sustainability.

Responsibilities Overview:
Global Responsible Sourcing:
  • Lead the Supplier sustainability data management through Assent and direct engagement with suppliers.
  • Create a strong supplier engagement strategy and base it on strategic supplier mapping.
  • Develop and lead the responsible supply chain organization in Auria.
  • Lead the multi-year supplier CO2 reduction program.
  • Create an internal forum to engage with Procurement team to stay aligned and ensure the right sustainability points are captured in the RFQs.
  • Take initiatives to organize supplier sustainability events for Global Auria on an annual or once in 2-year basis.
  • Provide competitive intelligence to operations and engineering of new sustainable alternatives and solutions – play a pivotal role in speed to market – competitive advantage!
  • Support LCA, recycled content activities within the global sustainability team, engineering, and operations.
  • Be the central point of contact for all Auria responsible supply chain questions from customers and stakeholders.
  • Ad-hoc support for developing internal tools for sustainability team. 
North America Sustainability:
  • Be part of NA leadership team and deliver constant updates, educate, and engage the leadership team with relevant activities and programs.
  • Connect the NA leadership requirement with Global sustainability team and cross-functionally work with plant management, EHS and HR.
  • Approve all sustainability AMOS KPIs and ensure alignment with M2030.
  • Lead, manage and develop the NA sustainability team.
  • Ensure individual roadmaps and targets are derived from the global sustainability strategy for North America contribution.
  • Be the final point of approval for local SAQs and customer requests.
  • Engage NA customers and build sustainability projects and programs.
  • Take initiatives to organize customer sustainability programs together with the sales team on an annual basis. 
  • Continue to promote sustainability corporate initiatives in NA. 
Miscellaneous topics: 
  • Support overarching global sustainability strategy activities. 
  • Be a part of the global sustainability leadership team. 
  • Individual learning on sustainability topics 
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements: 
  • Degree in supply chain, business management, sustainability, environmental sciences, chemical or process engineering, similar.
  • 7-10 years of practical experience in global procurement and supply chain knowledge
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements for automotive industry and sustainability frameworks
  • Leadership experience to manage people and lead cross-functionally.
  • Strong project management, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Awareness of ISO 14001 (Environmental), OH&S (Occupational Health & Safety), TISAX (information security)
