We are currently searching for Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at our Fremont, Ohio Plant in Fremont, Ohio.
- Monitor warehouse message system and emails to address any inventory action items
- Run transfer register reports (incoming, outgoing)
- Send and answer all communications.
- Perform adjustments.
- Count and reconcile transfer disputes.
- After counting disputed items report the information
- Throughout the day, answer any phone calls, pages, assist with receiving questions, etc.
- Troubleshoot large dollar adjustments.
- Assist with locating missing products.
- Assist with identifying transfer orders.
- Run supplemental counts, queue counts in RF scanner.
- Maintain location accuracy in the building.
- Review inventory adjustment entry daily.
- Inventory background - have completed cycle counts, min/max
- Logistics background - understanding of material flow and movement
- Understanding of lean principles
- Computer skills - excel
- Will complete daily/weekly cycle counts
- Excellent communication skills
- Review and approve all adjustments to material requirements from the customer.
- Initiate premium transportation with the shipping department.
- Prepare obsolescence claims / documentation.
- Initiate daily shipping orders.
- Responsible for weekend and holiday logistics
- Responsible for collection of cost recoveries due from the customer
- Carry out assigned functions described in Policies, Procedures, and Quality Manuals.
- Any additional reasonable request deemed necessary by management.
