We are currently searching for Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at our Fremont, Ohio Plant in Fremont, Ohio.
  • Monitor warehouse message system and emails to address any inventory action items
  • Run transfer register reports (incoming, outgoing)
  • Send and answer all communications.
  • Perform adjustments.
  • Count and reconcile transfer disputes.
  • After counting disputed items report the information
  • Throughout the day, answer any phone calls, pages, assist with receiving questions, etc.
  • Troubleshoot large dollar adjustments.
  • Assist with locating missing products.
  • Assist with identifying transfer orders.
  • Run supplemental counts, queue counts in RF scanner.
  • Maintain location accuracy in the building.
  • Review inventory adjustment entry daily.
  • Inventory background - have completed cycle counts, min/max
  • Logistics background - understanding of material flow and movement
  • Understanding of lean principles
  • Computer skills - excel
  • Will complete daily/weekly cycle counts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Review and approve all adjustments to material requirements from the customer. 
  • Initiate premium transportation with the shipping department. 
  • Prepare obsolescence claims / documentation. 
  • Initiate daily shipping orders. 
  • Responsible for weekend and holiday logistics 
  • Responsible for collection of cost recoveries due from the customer 
  • Carry out assigned functions described in Policies, Procedures, and Quality Manuals.
  • Any additional reasonable request deemed necessary by management. 
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: 
  • Familiarity with OEM customer base.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Priority setting and time management skills
  • Strong supervisory skills
  • Good interpersonal skills to facilitate sound working relationships with employees, carriers and customers.
