Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Supervise warehouse and shipping / receiving activities
• Ensure accuracy of transactions associated with shipments, warehouse receipts, material movement, etc,.
• Perform weekly freight audit and correct any inaccuracies
• Train and provide tools to associates so they can successfully perform their duties
• Daily Safety Housekeeping Assessment
• Support plant goal for on time delivery ratings. Track incoming and outgoing customer truck timeliness
• Manage returnable containers
• Maintain label printing list
• Supervise inventory analysts
• Responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with company policies within the materials function
• Customer Service
• Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Supervisory manufacturing position
- Customer Service Experience with OEMs desired
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Familiarity with OEM customer base and working knowledge of EDI and other customer inventory systems
- Strong computer skills
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills; Good interpersonal skills to facilitate sound working relationships with employees, carriers and customers
- Priority setting and time management skills
- Strong supervisory skills
