Auria is looking for an intern to join our Materials Operations team based in our Fremont, OH plant. As part of the internship, the student will help support the materials operations activities within the assigned regions. In alignment with the North America Materials Management organization, the student will have the opportunity to support our team in meeting Auria and customer requirements related to cost, quality, budget improvement and Continuous Improvement (CI) activities.
General Responsibilities:
Work with the Auria IT team and the dashboard developer to implement the Auria Materials Operations Dashboard
Create a page on Auria connect to display the dashboard along with Materials Operations documents.
Establish the cadence and requirements for the extraction of data from the plants ERP systems.
Work with the dashboard developer to implement an automated process for importing the extracted data into the dashboard:
Continue the development of the dashboard to include all Materials Metrics.
Inventory Levels to Budget with trend charts
Data Wellness with trend charts
Days on Hand
Value and Percentage of Inventory of Hand > 10 days
Unplanned Freight - inbound & outbound
Work with the teams to develop similar metrics to QAD.
Qualifications:
Strong communicator, in English, at all levels of the organization both verbal and written.
Possess strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with all levels across the organization to influence performance.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Good decision-making skills.
Ability to achieve deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to work effectively in a multi-team environment and with people at all levels.
Strong MS Excel Skills including the ability to write Macro's, complex formulas, and code in Visual Basic

Experience:
Experience in Dashboard Development is a plus
