Plant Facilities Coordinator

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Participate in accountability meeting daily


  • Provide support to adhere to the Global Safety requirements.


  • Provide support to ISO 14001/45001 policies and procedures.


  • Participate in the Budget Planning and MRO spending.


  • Assist in the development of the predictive/preventative maintenance planning.


  • Provide technical support off all aspects to Facilities, Grounds, Utilities, New and Used Equipment. Control the Environment where feasible. Institute cost savings. Request rebates.


  • Insure outside services are informed of proper procedures and requirements. Monitor cost with competitive quotes.


  • Assist with OSHA Regulations, Building Mechanical, Electrical and Fire Codes.


  • Provide technical support for the legal and other requirements of the facility.


  • Makes recommendations, plans and suggestions that promote Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma Projects and Lean Manufacturing throughout the organization.


  • Communicates with engineering to ensure timely equipment installation, plant layout recommendations and various manufacturing support during the development of new processes and ongoing maintenance basis. Ensure that all work performed meets safety standards. 







 Skills and Experience Requirements:


  • Degree with related formal training in the building and maintenance fields.


  • Minimum of five (5) years in general maintenance, of which two (2) years should be in supervision related to the support equipment.


  • Required basic knowledge of Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electrical, Building and Grounds.


  • Computer skills relating to MS office.


  • Verbal and writing skills, Communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
