We are currently searching for Production Scheduler to join our team at our Albemarle Plant in Albemarle, North Carolina. Our products are tufted and non-woven carpet rolled goods. Our processes include Tufting, Non-Woven, Latex Coating and Extrusion.
Responsibilities Overview:

- Responsible for Purchasing, MRO and for production scheduling
- Maintain database on operational capacities and yields
- Continuously monitor performance against schedule and champion corrective actions, as problems occur, to maximize 100% schedule achievement
- Report ongoing performance (production vs. plan) and Pareto causes for missed production
- Process and maintain all purchase orders and amendments
- Maintain inventory levels
- Maintain and update all reports as required
- Create and maintain raw packaging parts in ERP/MRP system
- MRO purchase orders / procure orders
- May include working with engineering for production launches
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years automotive Supply Chain experience
- Experience with Continuous Improvement/ Kaizen Events
- Experience working in ERP/MRP Systems, preferably Plex
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
- Familiarity with OEM customer base and working knowledge of EDI and other customer inventory systems
- Strong computer skills
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Priority setting and time management skills
- Strong supervisory skills
- Good interpersonal skills to facilitate sound working relationships with employees, carriers and customers
