Manufacturing Engineer 
 
  • Develop and identify equipment necessary for new programs and products
  • Develop capital estimates for ECR’s and new launches
  • Specify capital equipment for processes required for ECR changes and new launches
  • Manage capital projects, ensuring compliance to schedules and budgets
  • Develop and maintain mechanical engineering and equipment standards
  • Support Final Acceptance Tests at supplier locations and Site Acceptance Tests at Auria locations
  • Maintain current plant layouts in AutoCAD
  • Startup up new production equipment and provide operator and maintenance training
  • Determine process parameters for new equipment and processes and document on controlled setup sheets
  • Support and make provisions for PFEP (Place For Every Part) and line-side component storage
  • Participate in and lead Manufacturing Readiness Assessments
  • Conduct Design of Experiments to determine KPI and optimization of processes
  • Manage contractors, vendors, etc in the scope of completing project work
  • Complete Risk Assessments for all non-routine work and new jobs associated with newly installed equipment
  • Participate in and facilitate KAIZEN events
  • Provide technical support of other Auria facilities
  • Provide technical assistance for quality, scrap, CI issues and activities
  • Mentor less experienced engineers in technical disciplines
  • Assist Engineering Manager to ensure successful launches and in managing technical priorities
  • Research new technologies to improve cost, scrap, and quality
Education: 
  • BSME/BA required
  • MBA/MS preferred
Experience: 
  • Requires 5-10 years
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
