Our products help drivers around the world have quiet drives. We operate 18 manufacturing and 10 commercial, engineering and testing and tooling facilities in 11 countries and has nearly 4,000 employees worldwide.
Job Description and Responsibilities
Manages and administers Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Communication, Hearing Conservation, Lockout, PPE, Contractor Communication, Hazard Analysis, Respiratory Protection, Safety Device Verification, Manufacturing Readiness, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Powered Industrial Vehicles, and Ergonomics Develops and delivers training to hourly workforce and management personnel Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations relating to EHS Ensures accidents are investigated and documented thoroughly, accurately, and timely; follows-up to ensure corrective actions are implemented Works with plant leadership personnel to ensure Company goals and objectives are met Interfaces with government authorities, customers, vendors, and corporate management Serves as the ISO-14001 Champion; develops and maintains procedures, graphs, and documents necessary to meet ISO14001 standards Maintains OSHA (300) and 301 forms Manages Workers Compensation claims, attends hearings when necessary, and maintains workers compensation files Collects injury and illness data and prepares reports for management Conducts audits to ensure continuous compliance with regulations Prepares and submits environmental permits and applications
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, EXPERIENCE and MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety or Occupational Safety Management or equivalent experience 3-5 years equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook) Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Working knowledge of the IATF16949/ISO14001& 45001 standards
