Job Description
POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS (PSR):
- Ensure that all operations reported financials are completed in accordance with GAAP & Company policies
- Consolidation of North American operational facilities – 10 Manufacturing Plants
- Provide guidance and assistance to plant financial teams
- Support the VP of Operations
- Responsible for consolidation of financial performance in North American region, including but not limited to weekly and monthly reporting, monthly forecasts, yearly budget and long-range planning. Including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Free Cash Flow, Capital Tracking as well as several other areas
- Analyzation of multiple reports and forecasts for regional management and providing constructive advice
- Distribution to plant financial teams of any new reporting requirements and responsible for clarification if needed
- Actively provide advice to regional controlling team and other team members on reporting efficiency improvement
- Support plant financial teams on monthly accounts reconciliation with good communication with Shared Service Center
- Support plant on SOX self-test and annual internal audit schedule
- Work closely with plant Controllers to ensure system and practices within plants meet internal and external requirements and highlighting issues where necessary
- Plant support in case of any unexpected issue
- Guarantee that accurate and relevant financial data is utilized for all business decisions
- Lead the decision-making process for cash flow management
- Inform Senior Management of Financial performance and identify areas for improvement and issues to be addressed
- Approximately 25% annual travel to Auria manufacturing facilities
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- BS/BA degree in related field
- MS/MBA preferred
Experience:
- 10+ years of operational Finance to include time spent in a plant / manufacturing facility
- Finance experience within the Automotive industry
- Experience with One Stream / QAD/ SAP/ Plex
- Successful financial multi-plant responsibility
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Understanding of general business practices and principles
- Knowledge of SOX applications & requirements preferable
- Strong computer skills (advance to expert level within Excel)
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with various levels of employees
- Proven ability to learn technical concepts
- Team-player with ability to work as part of a team or on own initiatives.
- Work well under pressure, effective communication skills, and be well presented.
- Strong analytical, conceptual and structured working method.
- Ability to think strategically and identify areas for improvement.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
