Job Description
Auria is a leading global supplier of automotive acoustical and textile solutions. Formed in 2017 as a joint venture between Shanghai Shenda Co., Ltd., and International Automotive Components (IAC) Group, Auria is built on a 150-year transportation industry heritage.
Our product line includes highly engineered acoustical solutions for interior noise reduction, textile-based and compression-molded flooring products and other interior soft trim products, including package trays, trunk trim and wheel arch liners. Auria operates 29 manufacturing and nine commercial, engineering and testing and tooling facilities in 11 countries and has nearly 5,000 employees worldwide.
POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS (PSR):
- Manage all commercial elements of a platform/program including:
- Negotiating
- Profit margin improvement
- Cost savings
- Engineering change activity
- Monitoring target pricing where applicable
- Responsible for tracking the receipt of purchase orders and tooling orders
- Responsible for developing and submitting on-time quotations to the customer
- Responsible for responding to new capacity study requests
- Responsible for submitting new business quotations and associated cost breakdown information as required
- Responsible for monitoring Customer Documents to ensure proper submittal to customer to ensure on-time payment
- Responsible for championing weekly RFQ/ECN change meetings
- Responsible for new business award and new RFQ kick off meetings
- Responsible for being the Point-of-Contact for both the customer and Auria Global colleagues
Job Requirements
Education:
- BS/BA required
Experience:
- Requires 5+ years of experience, with no more than 10 years
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of B2B
- Experience with the German OEM Customer base
- Knowledge of Covisint
- Experience working in both a Commercial & Advanced Sales role
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
- Ability to drive cross functional team activity and inputs for timely quote submissions
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- German verbal and written communication skills (preferred but not required)
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
