Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for managing facility environmental, health and safety programs
  •  Manage employee relations in a non-union environment.
  • Manage the recruitment/staffing for hourly and salaried positions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations as it pertains to human resources.
  • Responsible for Workers Compensation administration.
  • Oversee the administration of salaried and hourly compensation and benefits.
  • Ensure the consistent and fair administration and compliance of company and plant policies, work rules and procedures
  • Oversee the training and career development programs for both hourly and salaried associates.
  • Provide direction and guidance for the hourly and salaried performance management and appraisal process.
  • Provide direction in developing plant specific policies.
  • Support the plant and the company’s reputation in the local community.


Job Requirements



  • BS/BA degree in related field


  • Requires minimum of 5 years experience


  • Understanding of general business practices and principles
  • Requires minimal supervision
  • Manages a multi-functional area
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work with technical concepts
