Job Description

Position Specific Requirements (PSR):

The Senior Business Manager will have dual responsibilities with our customer GM and will need to understand all GM systems and process as it relates to Advanced and Continuous GM Commercial Sales:

Advanced:

  • Responsible for pulling advanced quoting information from GDIPMS and Trubiquity
  • Responsible for creating Customer Technical Presentations using all required sales and program data
  • Responsible for meeting customer deliverable timing

Continuous:

  • Responsible for completing and understanding 1804 & 1810 documents
  • Responsible for managing the entire Pre-production Process via G3PS
  • Responsible for managing the Vendor Tooling Process
  • Responsible for maintaining pricing and contracts

General Duties:

  • Business Quoting
  • Securing Contracts
  • Resolving Commercial Disputes
  • Reporting
  • Tracking & Collection of Tooling and Prototypes

 

Job Requirements

Education:

  • BS/BA required

Experience:

  • Requires 5-8 years of experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:                                      

    • Able to work well in a team environment
    • Knowledge of GM systems and processes
    • Ability to drive cross functional team activity and inputs for timely quote submissions
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
