Job Description

  • Responsible for the daily support of ERP and Integration systems including QAD and Boomi in the following key areas:
    • EDI Services / Support with trading partner setups and mapping in QAD
    • ASN Support issues
    • Sql database support
    • Boomi integrations
  • Responsible for project deliverables by defined dates and according to project management methodology including:
    • Technical specification
    • Unit / System tests
    • Change control
  • Collaborate with other teams (Purchasing, Sales, Materials, Quality, etc.) to ensure integrated system is configured and processing correctly
  • Support legacy application databases


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in, or related to Information Technology or Operations Management
  • 5+ years of experience supporting QAD EB21 &/or 2009 SE and Progress (OE 11 & OE 13) in a Linux/Unix environment
  • 5+ years of High-level OE Progress programming and QAD code development
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing corporation.
  • 5+ years of experience with basic Linux Administration (basic commands, functionality, troubleshooting).
  • 5+ years of EDI and other data interfacing tools/applications.
  • 2+ years of building integrations using Dell Boomi.
  • SQL language proficiency with at least one of the common database platforms such as SQL Server.


  • 5+ years of .NET & Crystal Reports experience and development.
  • Automotive experience.

  • Thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate needs into system and operational requirements with appropriate use of technology solutions.
  • Ability to learn rapidly and apply knowledge to practical use.
  • Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of project management methodology and lifecycle.
  • Willingness to learn and support multiple ERP systems (if Plex experience this is a plus)
  • Available to support on call / above working hours if required
