Auria is a leading global supplier of automotive acoustical and textile solutions. Formed in 2017 as a joint venture between Shanghai Shenda Co., Ltd., and International Automotive Components (IAC) Group, Auria is built on a 150-year transportation industry heritage.

Our product line includes highly engineered acoustical solutions for interior noise reduction, textile-based and compression-molded flooring products and other interior soft trim products, including package trays, trunk trim and wheel arch liners. Auria operates 17 manufacturing and 10 commercial, engineering and testing and tooling facilities in 10 countries and has nearly 4,700 employees worldwide.

We are currently searching for a Sr Quality Engineer to join our team at our Holmesville, OH Plant.

Quality:

  • APQP
    • Identify and Prepare PPAP Submission Packages
    • Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA)
    • Dimensional layout and process capability
    • Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plan development 
  • Monitor and Maintain Customer Scorecards
    • Timely response to Customer Issues
    • On-site reviews on an as needed basis
  • Support and Drive Improvement to Quality Systems, including:
    • IATF / ISO internal auditing and corrective actions
    • Fast Response
    • Supplier Quality Tracking System (SQTS)
    • Reporting of Quality Metrics such as Cost of Poor Quality and Audit Results
  • Lead and/or participate in the resolution of quality issues through identification of root cause and implementation and verification of effective, corrective, and preventive action.
    • 8D
    • 5 Why
    • Is / Is Not
    • Process Capability Analysis
    • Six Sigma
  • Support quality technician group as needed

Administrative

  • Administration of Layered Process Audit System
  • Administration of Document Control System

Safety:

  • Drive improvement actions based on results from Global Safety Audit
  • Complete S.A.F.E. audits
  • Participate in safety committee meetings
  • Escalate any major incidents in accordance with Company policy

Continuous Improvement

Use the data acquired from performing the above activities, as well as external and internal resources, to identify and implement opportunities for improving quality. Develop, justify, and lead the implementation of process quality improvements. Develop, maintain, and deliver training to facilities and corporate entities for quality systems tools and processes.

 

Job Requirements

Education:

  • BS/BA required

Experience:

  • Requires 5-10 years manufacturing quality experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Able to Travel: 10%
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of IATF16949 standards
  • Tier 1 automotive experience with working knowledge of customer systems preferred.
