SR IT Manager - Business Systems

Auria is a leading global supplier of automotive acoustical and textile solutions. Formed in 2017 as a joint venture between Shanghai Shenda Co., Ltd., and International Automotive Components (IAC) Group, Auria is built on a 150-year transportation industry heritage.

Our product line includes highly engineered acoustical solutions for interior noise reduction, textile-based and compression-molded flooring products and other interior soft trim products, including package trays, trunk trim and wheel arch liners. Auria operates 25 manufacturing and 10 commercial, engineering and testing and tooling facilities in 11 countries and has nearly 5,000 employees worldwide.

We are looking for a Senior IT Manager to be responsible for our global business systems and related staff. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage both internal staff and external partners. Project management (including ERP implementations) is required while ensuring ongoing support requirements are met across the global organization. Preparation and adherence to an annual budget and periodic forecasts within functional area is required. You will also be required to maintain compliance with company and departmental policies, procedures, and SOX/CSOX self-monitoring, and to timely resolve identified deficiencies within your area of responsibility.



  • Business System Strategy
    • Maintains organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining and delivering strategic plans for company business systems.
    • Collaborates with business owners and provides input to the Sr. Director - Global Information Technology for development of a strategic roadmap of business systems.
    • Coordinate review meetings with business owners to determine future direction of business systems
  • Project Management
    • Effectively manage multiple projects with appropriate prioritization and resource management, while meeting timing and financial commitments
    • Support information technology initiatives that impact area of responsibility.
    • Ensure change control process adherence within business systems
  • Compliance
    • Conducts initial negotiations and reviews of new contracts/agreements and coordinates subsequent reviews with legal and procurement teams to ensure documentation requirements are met.
    • Design, develop and implement IT systems, policies and procedures
    • Manage ERP systems including end user security configuration, cloud connectivity, environment management, continuous upgrades, and audit reporting
    • Oversee the coordination of support requests and change management to ensure compliance with company policy and zero disruption to business operations
  • Financial Management
    • Preparation of annual budget for area of responsibility
    • Preparation of periodic forecast updates
  • On-going support:
    • Ensure timely ongoing support for business systems for all supported applications and processes to ensure end-user satisfaction
    • Develop KPI’s to help manage the operations and identify areas of improvement within the company
  • Resource Management
    • Manage IT staff by setting goals and objectives, and performing one-on-one reviews and annual performance evaluations
    • Provide work direction, feedback, and training to employees in the performance of assigned responsibilities to ensure departmental objectives are met on-time and on-budget.
    • Effectively manage suppliers and managed service provider relationships to ensure contractual SLA’s are achieved and lowest cost alternatives are in place
    • Ensure staff acts as a liaison between business and technical resources
  • Other
    • After-hours and weekend work may be required to support system implementations and ongoing global business operation support
    • Ensure standardization of ERP systems across the global organization.
    • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (25-45%)
    • Perform other duties as assigned




Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years’ experience as an IT Manager, including management of global teams.
  • Proven project management experience
  • Prior experience implementing ERP and other applications
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate a team to achieve desired results.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of company management in a variety of situations
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving ability
  • Previous support team management experience within a global organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Office 365 products including Teams
  • Previous experience in automotive sector
  • Previous experience managing support for multiple applications
  • Experience with ITIL principles


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or similar field. (required)


  • 50% remote work available
