Job summary

The Consolidation System Administrator is responsible for maintaining all functional aspects of the consolidation system.


Job Responsibilities:

The Consolidation System Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of the monthly and year end close function through interaction with US & other global entities. This position will play a vital role in supporting the annual budget & five plan process, which involves heavy reliance on the consolidation software and related templates.  

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • Maintenance and administration of the consolidation application
  • Provide second and third level support as required for global users.
  • Coordination of month-end and year-end close procedures
  • Maintenance of user security and access rights, organization and entity structures, chart of accounts, mapping translations, reports and book sets, reporting categories for actual, budget, forecast, 5 year plan, etc. 
  • Creating excel templates linked to the consolidation system, to load data related to budget & long-range plans 
  • Preparation of program and operations documentation, implementation of solutions and delivery of training as necessary
  • Maintenance of Treasury published exchange rates
  • Maintenance of meta data structure in the OS software
  • Assist with support and deployment of ERP systems focusing on shared services - Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger
  • Gather functional and technical requirements for a portfolio of approved projects; document functional designs, test cases and results
  • Complete tasks and resolve issues by defined due dates and to high level of quality
  • Act as liaison for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems
  • Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team
  • Participate in definition, setup and testing of user security
  • Lead the definition and execution of testing activities for your functional area
  • Collaborate with other teams (Purchasing, Sales, Finance Quality, etc.) to ensure integrated system is configured and processing correctly
  • Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders
  • Travel – approximately 20%, including international
  • Provide after-hours support as required

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or business related field
  • Minimum of 3+ years consolidation administration experience OneStream consolidation software (preferable) or any other consolidation software like HFM, Hyperion etc.
  • Understanding of and ability to change basic logics in the consolidation system
  • Excellent working knowledge with MS office suites, Excel, PowerPoint & Word
  • Proficient in VB.Net
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and referencing of work
  • Curiosity to question processes and drive change
