Currently our St Clair, MI Plant is searching for a Maintenance Tech to join our team. The position will be on 2nd Shift. The Maintenance Tech will be a vital team member to ensure we are able to meet our customer requirements.  Desired candidates will have experience in machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, machine controls, robotics, PLC and drives.  Good troubleshooting and repair techniques are required.  A good work history, a strong electrical background, and teamwork skills are necessary. 


  • Troubleshooting of machinery, electrical components, jigs, fixtures, tooling, plumbing, and physical plant structure
  • Follow Company policies and display conduct expected of Auria employees as described in the Work Plant Rules and Work Safety Rules.
  • To meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of Auria.
  • Participate and support all lean, continuous improvement programs, initiatives and activities.
  • Assist Operations to meet or exceed daily production goals as directed.
  • Clean all assigned work areas after completion of the required work, return all tools to proper storage area at the end of the shift and report any malfunctioning equipment
  • Perform all assigned tasks per the TPM, SOP (standard operating procedures), manufacturing alerts, safety alerts and quality alerts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Job Requirements


  • Electrical or Mechanical Journeyperson’s card or 8 years of documented related experience industrial maintenance experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, mechanical and/or electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, handbooks, and instructions pertaining to plant equipment
  • Experience installing, maintaining, aligning, and adjusting precision machines, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, handbooks, and instructions pertaining to plant equipment
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime as necessary
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
