Auria is a leading global supplier of automotive acoustical and textile solutions. Formed in 2017 as a joint venture between Shanghai Shenda Co., Ltd., and International Automotive Components (IAC) Group, Auria is built on a 150-year transportation industry heritage.

Our product line includes highly engineered acoustical solutions for interior noise reduction, textile-based and compression-molded flooring products and other interior soft trim products, including package trays, trunk trim and wheel arch liners. Auria operates 25 manufacturing and 10 commercial, engineering and testing and tooling facilities in 11 countries and has nearly 5,000 employees worldwide.

We are looking for a Director – Global IT Infrastructure to manage our talented global infrastructure team responsible for technical areas including wide area network, data center, information security and desktop management. Within the above areas the Director – Global IT Infrastructure is responsible to manage resources, project portfolio, assist in individual project management, operational support, financial management and compliance. Development of long-term strategy and introduction of advanced technologies. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management responsibilities:
    • Effectively manage multiple projects with appropriate prioritization direct and indirect resource management, while meeting timing and financial commitments
    • Financial Management (budget preparation and ownership for area of responsibility)
    • Conducts initial negotiations and reviews of new contracts/agreements and coordinates subsequent reviews with legal and procurement teams to ensure documentation requirements are met.
    • Oversee the coordination of support requests and change management to ensure compliance with company policy and zero disruption to business operations
    • Ensure standardization of infrastructure systems across the global organization.

    • After-hours and weekend work may be required to support ongoing global business operation support
    • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (25%)

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience as an IT Manager, including management of global teams.
  • Proven project management experience
  • Prior experience with networking, server infrastructure, Office365 administration and information security
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate a team to achieve desired results.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of company management in a variety of situations
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving ability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Office 365 products including Teams
  • Previous experience in automotive sector
  • Previous experience managing support for multiple applications and processes
  • Experience with ITIL principles
  • Previous experience working at a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or similar field. (required)
