Job Description

Position Specific Requirements (PSR):

  • Develop and measure standard metrics, diagramming the flow (including inputs and outputs) of a business process
  • Identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop a project plan for implementing improvements and monitoring the new process to ensure it works as intended.
  • Prepare reports and statistics and work with frontline staff, identifying improvement opportunities
  • Coach employees on how to work more efficiently.
  • Support the facility’s Continuous Improvement efforts, including but not limited to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Cost Reduction
  • Support plant’s cost reduction and profit improvement efforts and implements plans to achieve those objectives

 

Job Requirements

Education:

  • BS/BA preferred

Experience:

  • Requires 5+ years experience or equivalent experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Requires limited supervision
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
